Designed for food contact applications, ALPHAKLEEN compounds combine the performance characteristics of flexible PVC with ingredients suitable for food-contact use.

ALPHAKLEEN is a family of flexible vinyl (PVC) compounds for extrusion and molding applications, formerly offered under the SYLVIN brand name.
Compounds for general purpose consumer and industry applications are still available under the SYLVIN brand name. Only compounds made with FDA-sanctioned ingredients for food contact applications are renamed ALPHAKLEEN.
ALPHAKLEEN PVC compounds are available in hardness (durometer) from 45-95A, helping engineers select a balance of flexibility, feel, and durability required for the finished component.
ALPHAKLEEN grades are available either clear or opaque with a glossy or matte finish. Additional options include compounds formulated without reportable phthalates and grades designed for low-temperature flexibility.
ALPHAKLEEN vinyl compounds are formulated with FDA-sanctioned ingredients.

For the renamed ALPHAKLEEN grades, only the brand name changed. The rest of the material designation, ingredients, formulation, and manufacturing process remains unchanged.
