LSHF (low smoke, halogen-free) compounds designed for wire & cable applications
MEGOLON LSHF compounds are formulated with properties required for a variety of copper and fiber optic cables including communications, power, energy, control, industrial automation, hybrid and specialty. Grades are designed for cables needing to pass the various CPR performance rankings from B2 to E as well as NEC flame up to UL 1666 riser*. MEGOLON compounds exhibit good performance with falling droplets. Options include enhanced flexibility and oil resistance.
*Since testing is conducted on the cable, not the compound, material selection is dependent on the entire cable design.
